Local Food - Community Expert
by Dexter, Noah, Aami, and Sabin To learn more about the grains group, we met with three community experts. We visited Adam, the baker, at Concordia Language Villages. We also met with two people who know a lot about wild rice. Annette Drewes, a wild rice expert, visited our class. Krystal Story, a wild rice producer, also visited our classroom. Adam showed us a big mixer machine that he uses make dough. He uses another machine to form the baguettes. At the end of the visit, Adam gave us each a cookie.
